Both Central Stations and end users will be notified of any events involving Hub 2 Plus. When trespassers attempt to remove the device from the wall, a tamper alert triggers. Thanks to short ping intervals, the Ajax Cloud server will issue a notification in just 60 seconds if it loses contact with a hub. Hub 2 Plus will continue to guard buildings even in the event of a blackout for up to 15 hours thanks to a built-in backup battery.

To guarantee the continued operation of all devices inside the security system, we developed the Jeweller radio protocol. Jeweller enables two-way communication between the hub and its detectors up to distances of 2,000 meters with as little as 0.15 seconds for the reception of alarm signals and control commands.

Schedules, authentication, and encryption are all used by Jeweller to synchronise communication with connected devices, prevent spoofing, and avoid data breaches. It is also a very energy-efficient radio protocol that enables detectors to run for years on pre-installed batteries.

To infinite and beyond

OS Malevich, a real-time operating system created by Ajax Systems, powers Hub 2 Plus. OS Malevich is incredibly stable, virus-free, and secure from online threats.

The ongoing OS Malevich upgrade process is made simpler by modular architecture. Through over-the-air software updates, the system is updated multiple times per year with new features. To ensure continuous protection, automatic updates only happen when the system is disarmed; neither engineers nor users are required.

The device can function and be current for years thanks to this hardware setup.

App-based control

We refused to employ outdated interfaces and add buttons to our control panel. Apps offer greater comfort and safety. They use Ajax Cloud, our server solution housed across several AWS data centres, to connect to a hub over a secure connection. Users can configure linked devices, modify hub settings, manage security, create scenarios, and keep an eye on occurrences using apps through a laptop or a smartphone.

Alarm control panels need to communicate with the outside world to function perfectly. Its dependability ensures that alarm signals are sent promptly to the Monitoring Center and system users.

The stability of external communication is second to none with the Ajax Hub 2 Plus. It has 4 communication paths, including support for LTE networks. With this set up, you may use Ethernet and Wi-Fi to connect the device to two different Internet service providers while also having two cellular backup services available. If a communication channel fails, Ajax quickly and flawlessly uses secondary channels to ensure that the system is always monitored.

In 9 seconds, an alarm's verification with a photo

The future of the security sector is photo verification. This technology is the best option for both business and residential properties because it is user-friendly and designed with privacy in mind. Users and CMS operators can verify alarms in real time using an animated series of photographs taken by MotionCam detectors. These Motioncams also respect the end users privacy and are secure when not in alarm and cannot be accessed otherwise.

Hub 2 Plus can manage up to 200 MotionCam detectors and send visual confirmations of alarms to users and alarm monitoring businesses in about 9 seconds, even when only using a SIM card over an LTE Network.

Automated protection

Hub 2 Plus provides 64 scenarios that reduce how much human activity affects a location's security. It can schedule the automatic arming and disarming of the complete security system or specific partitions. Additionally, it can immediately shut off electricity and turn on emergency lighting in the event of a fire, trigger a smoke security system in the event of a robbery, and shut off water in the event of a leak. Hub 2 Plus can operate roller shutters, electric locks, and lighting via automation devices. Alarm triggering, changes in security mode, or button commands can all trigger the activation of programmable scenes.

Large-scale property protection with sophisticated internal structure

Business buildings, manufacturing facilities, and multi-story homes with outbuildings are all types of sites that Hub 2 Plus is prepared to secure. Up to 200 devices are controlled by the Hub 2 Plus. Its radio signal range can go as far as 2,000 metres, and its radio network can cover a maximum area of 35 km2 using repeaters. 200 users can be divided into 25 security groups via Hub 2 Plus. This enables security professionals to properly organise staff access and separate huge facilities into logical partitions.

A smooth security system upgrading

We've included the option of automatic data transmission to make the process of updating installed hubs simpler. Engineers can transfer settings, connected devices, groups, scenarios, and users from an existing hub to Hub 2 Plus using the import feature. within 15 minutes or less.

Simple installation

The Hub 2 Plus is fully assembled and ready to use. It includes backup batteries, a power supply unit, and communicators that are already installed. Putting a panel online is as easy as installing the optional SIM cards, plugging the device into a power source, connecting it to the Internet, and using the app to scan the QR code before you can start the system setup. You won't even need to disassemble the device to mount it thanks to the SmartBracket.

In the app, all security system settings are constantly accessible. Even when you're far away from the hub, you may add users, evaluate the strength of the radio signal, connect security devices or CCTV cameras, create security groups and scenarios, or link the hub to a central Station.
